Ben Martin of Richland Township has received a letter from MDARD stating that he is in compliance with the GAAMPs for his tomatoes and goats. That letter was included in a document sent to the court by attorney Chris Tracy, who asked for reconsideration of previous Opinions and Orders based on this new information, and is available here.
According to a recent MLive story, Mr. Martin is also seeking $14,500 from the township to cover his legal costs in defending his right to farm.
